Anaheim is one of the most popular tourist destinations of United States.It is famous as home for Disneyland, which was the first theme park based on Disney known to entire world.This park is known as 'The Happiest Place on Earth' but there is much to offer than the park for entire family.There is a range of exciting and fun loving entertainment around the city.

This fun loving and exciting city of Anaheim is located just 30 miles to the south of downtown area of Los Angeles and not more than 90 miles from north of San Diego.The significant location of the city makes it one of the excellent places for making it a base for Southern California.

This marvelous city was founded in the year 1857 by the wine makers that belong to Franconia in Bavaria.Daniel Kraemer was the first who settled in the area.The Germans purchased the colonies of the area of 1,165 acres around the coastal area.Up to the year 1880, it remained the major wine producing area and in the same year irrigation was introduced to it.The wineries of the area were capable to produce around 1.25 gallons of wine per year. With the development of the rail and road ways, the city started growing with remarkable pace.The city underwent a rapid industrial growth during the beginning of 1920.

Agriculture was the major source of earning for most of the families until the Walt Disney chose Anaheim as the home for the world famous Disneyland amusement park.

This city is full packed with a range of attractions but the Disneyland amusement park will always remain the eye candy for the tourist of all over the world.This park is full of thrilling and exciting rides, festivals, processions, stalls, eateries and resort hotels which would never let you feel bore or short of excitement even for a minute.This is further subdivided into three themed areas known as the Golden State, Paradise Pier and the Hollywood Pictures Backlot.

Children of all ages will find there area that will amuse them.The mini adventureland is meant to provide entertainment to entire family.A seasonal park known as the 'Knott's Soak City' exhibits water rides and a huge wave pool.

Besides Disneyland, Anaheim also offers some of the oldest building of the city along with some of the oldest post rancho-era structures that exhibits several artifacts and important information.

Anaheim offers a range of luxury, mid-budget and budget hotels for the people coming from all round the world.The entire city exhibit a great variation in cheap hotels but they are a bit away from the Disneyland which gives a break from continuous excitement of Disneyland and you may be able to enjoy some other area around the city.The cheap hotels such as the Candy Cane Inn, Disney Good Neighbor hotel, the Peacock Suites and many more are meant for providing excellent facilities.Your stay at cheap hotels of Anaheim will certainly make a memorable one.

you mean the photo that was taken of you on the ride?

disneyland deletes the ride photos at the end of the day. this is why they always tell you that if you are even considering buying a pic that you should have a cast member write down the number and come back before the park closes.

if you had a photopass card (which are free) and had them put the pic on the photopass then you could go to the photopass website and view the photos and purchase them online.

sorry but at least you'll know for next time.

Monsters Inc. ride @ Disneyland DCA (complete ride through)

The ride follows, very closely, the story of the film. The queue area is themed to a bus station with commercials of tourist spots within in the city of Monstropolis. Posters of Harryhausen's, a restaurant from the film, are placed in queue, hinting to a scene within the attraction. Guests board taxis on a journey through the streets of Monstropolis. A small television monitor in each of the three rows of the ride vehicle plays a clip of a tourism video that is interrupted with urgent news that a human named Boo has entered Monstropolis (humans are considered deadly). The taxis exit a tunnel and go down the dark streets of the city, passing Mike and Celia in Mike's new car as Mike wishes her a happy birthday. They then see Randall, who looks around angrily. Following that are news reporters interviewing frightened monsters about what they saw that night. Sulley pops up from an alley holding Boo, looking to see if the coast is clear. The taxis drive into Harryhausen's sushi joint, where frantic monsters run around as Celia screams angrily at Mike and Sulley who are running across the way. The taxis enter the Monsters, Inc. factory and are nearly cleansed by the CDA that fall from nowhere and take pictures. A few workers walk by and the taxis enter the boys' locker room where Mike seems scared and worried again while Sulley waits for Boo to use the restroom. Disneys Mickey and Minnie starred {first | early on |in their first film in the funny Plane Crazy, which was released on May 15, 1928. The movie was co-directed by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks.Ub Iwerks was also themain animator for this short, and reportedly spent six weeks working on it. It is said, Iwerks was the chief animator for all Walt Disney short released in 1928 and 1929. Mainly Harman and Ising also helped Disney at the start of the Disney career. Although they were signing their contracts with Charles Mintz, but he was still in the process of forming his new studio and so for the time being they were still working for and employed by Walt Disney . This cartoon would be the last they animated under this somewhat awkward situation.
