Disneyland Hong Kong

Which Disney Resort is every kid's fun filled holiday resort destination}.
At a guess that it would be Epcot for a TrulyExciting time. Disneyland is most kids favourite with a chance of really meeting Mickey Mouse or a Disney Princess. There are always lots of great fun things to do like exciting Rides and then there are exciting Shows and a heap of other activities to keep them entranced all day long.

Disneyland Hong Kong

If you are visiting Hong Kong and find yourself with a spare day (not shopping !)
You should really visit Disneyland Hong Kong.

Fantasyland
and Main Street USA
Sleeping Beauty Castle and all the usual Rides and Attractions.

The Best place to meet characters is definitely in Main Street and that is (like the other Disney Properties) the hub f Hong Kong Disneyworld.

All your favourite Rides are there like
Space Mountain,Jungle RIver Cruise and Its a Small World.

Pins are of course the favourite purchase as these can be traded when you get home and they are fairly light to carry too.
When you get hungry the Royal Banquet Hall will serve you delicious Oriental and other foods from its Four Kitchens

and these offer such treats as Dim Sum (snack type dishes)Sushi and Tempura and grills
Clopins Festival of Foods is a Hunchback of Notre Dame inspired food court
offering all kinds of yummy Chinese Food from North West China.

As a Hint to travellers please do check the Disney website for Typhoon warnings
Entry is restricted during the typhoons that sometimes happen in Hong Kong.

There is a Podium just as you enter at the beginning of Main Street and that also a good place to meet the Characters.
There is a Muppet Mobile Lab,street entertainment and loads of things to see and do in Hong Kong Disneyland.

It is also rumoured that you can get an exclusive Mickey Mouse MP3 Player and that would be a great souvenier.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse starred {first | early on |in their first debuted in the short Plane Crazy, was first shown on May 15, 1928. The cartoon was co-directed by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. Iwerks was also themain animator for this short, and reportedly spent six weeks working on it. It is said, Iwerks was the first Cartoonist for every of Disneys short released in 1928 and 1929. Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising also aided Disney in the early years. Although they were signing their contracts with Charles Mintz, but he was still in the process of forming his new studio and so for the time being they were still working for and employed by walt. This short would be the final movie they animated under this somewhat awkward situation.
