Movies help us to relax after long work schedules. Each person will have a special genre of movies as the favorite. With improved technology and popularity of computer animated films are becoming popular. They are becoming the favorites of a lot of people especially kids. Many people might compare animated films with those of the cartoons. Though these are similar animated movies are full length big screen movies. You can watch them as any other movie. But the only difference is that the characters are animated. One can see animals becoming heroes and heroines and they talking like human beings. Those animated films with comedy are attracting both kids and adults alike.
Walt Disney is considered to be the person responsible for the success of animated films on big screen. Walt Disney made a change by the creation of characters like Mickey Mouse and Donald duck. These still remain among the all time favorites. Mickey Mouse was starred in a full length movie named Steamboat Willie. But now there are more popular characters around. Madagascar, Shrek, Monsters vs. aliens, who framed Roger Rabbit, Wall-E etc are some of the popular films.
The new technology takes animated films to a different level. Nowadays 3D technology is used in the production of animated movies. This attracts more audience. One of the new forms is the Pixar 3D technology. 3D animation software gives life top the animated characters. These can be easily related to the audience. This is a major reason why these are becoming more popular. Stop motion animation is another technology that is recently used.
If once the animated movies were to attract the kids. Now these are equally aimed at adults. There are more adults who watch such movies these days. The animated films are even making huge records at the Oscar as well.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse starred {first | early on |in their first made their first appearance in the Movie Plane Crazy, first released on May 15, 1928. The cartoon was co-directed by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks.Ub Iwerks was also the top animator for this short, and reportedly spent six weeks working on it. The Rumour was , Iwerks was the chief Artist for Each Walt Disney short released in 1928 and 1929. Mainly Harman and Ising also helped Disney during those years. Although they were signing their contracts with Charles Mintz, but he was still in the process of forming his new studio and so for the time being they were still working for and employed by Walt Disney . This cartoon would be the last cartoon they animated under this somewhat awkward situation.
